“The habit of ignoring Nature is deeply implanted in our times. This attitude reminds me of people who never look you in the eye; I find them disturbing and always have to look away” - Marc Chagall

Skull Studies

If we look at our reflection; we see ourselves looking back: the features we like, the blemishes we don’t and everything else in between we tolerate. Do we ever think about what lies beneath?

There is nothing simple about a skeleton, regardless of the animal, and yet this very tangible structure has gone through vast amounts of honing, refining and evolution to be the best example of itself that it can be for its purpose.

Let us revel and marvel at how it is a  enabler for physical movement but let us also celebrate it as a beautiful object unto itself.
